Spear phishing

Is a method of deceiving users with any sort of on-line messages, but usually email, into giving up important data. Spear phishing attacks are phishing attacks that are targeted at a particular user or group of users (e.g. employees of one company). The intended victim(s) will be asked to fill out data or lured into installing data gathering malware on his system. Learn more about phishing in our blog post, Phishing 101: Part 1.
